Vegetarian Pesto Pizza recipe

Ingredients:

  • Pizza dough
  • Pesto sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Sliced black olives
  • Sliced bell peppers (assorted colors)
  • Red onion, thinly sliced
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Fresh arugula

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to the highest temperature it can reach.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough and place it on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  3. Spread a layer of pesto sauce over the dough.
  4. Arrange the halved cherry tomatoes, black olives, sliced bell peppers, and red onion over the sauce.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the toppings.
  6. Bake the pizza in the oven for around 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Once cooked, remove the pizza from the oven and top with fresh arugula.
  8. Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing and serving.
