Ingredients
- 16 ounces frozen shoestring fries 1 bag
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter ¼ stick
- 1 clove garlic minced
- ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
- ⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese divided
- 2 tablespoons fresh minced parsley
Instructions
- Bake the fries according to package instructions.
- While the fries are baking, melt the butter and garlic in a medium saucepan set over low heat.
- Once the butter begins to gently simmer, cook the garlic until slightly toasted, about 90 seconds. Add in the garlic salt, pepper, cayenne, and 2 tablespoons of the Parmesan cheese. Heat just until the cheese is melted. Stir well to combine.
- Once the fries are crispy, remove from the oven and pour the butter mixture over the fries, tossing well to coat.
- Transfer the fries to a serving platter and sprinkle them with the remaining parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve immediately.
