Ingredients:
- White fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod)
- Blackened seasoning (paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper)
- Flour or corn tortillas
- Cabbage slaw (shredded cabbage, carrots, lime juice, mayonnaise)
- Sliced avocado
- Salsa or pico de gallo
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Coat the fish fillets with the blackened seasoning on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a bit of oil.
- Cook the fish fillets for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through and blackened.
- Warm the tortillas in the skillet or oven.
- Assemble the tacos with fish, cabbage slaw, avocado slices, salsa or pico de gallo, and fresh cilantro.
- Serve the blackened fish tacos with lime wedges.
