Ingredients:
- Rye bread
- Thinly sliced corned beef
- Swiss cheese slices
- Sauerkraut, drained
- Russian dressing or Thousand Island dressing
- Butter
- Pickles (optional)
Instructions:
- Butter one side of each slice of rye bread.
- On the non-buttered side of one slice, layer corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut.
- Spread Russian dressing on the non-buttered side of another slice of bread and place it on top of the sauerkraut.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Cut the sandwich diagonally and serve with pickles.
