Reuben Sandwich Recipes

Ingredients:

  • Rye bread
  • Thinly sliced corned beef
  • Swiss cheese slices
  • Sauerkraut, drained
  • Russian dressing or Thousand Island dressing
  • Butter
  • Pickles (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Butter one side of each slice of rye bread.
  2. On the non-buttered side of one slice, layer corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut.
  3. Spread Russian dressing on the non-buttered side of another slice of bread and place it on top of the sauerkraut.
  4. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  5. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Cut the sandwich diagonally and serve with pickles.
